This smoothie is refreshing, sweet, and great for breakfast! It has a light hint of coconut, which makes me feel like I'm drinking some fancy tropical drink on the beach instead of some green vegetables in my kitchen!
Pineapple Orange Banana Green Smoothie
1 cup almond milk and coconut milk blend (I used Blue Diamond)
1 cup of a combination of pineapple and oranges (I actually used canned mandarin oranges)
1 banana
2 handfuls of spinach
ice cubes, optional
Blend all of the above ingredients (I start with the milk and spinach) together until smooth. Yum!
*The great thing about this smoothie is that you can use fresh, frozen, or canned fruit in any combination, and they still taste great! Of course, I opt for fresh fruit whenever possible.
